Chioggia is a locality with 50,674 inhabitants and an area of 187.91 km², located in northeastern Italy, south of Venice. The webcams cover a part of the 10 kilometers of beach that are found in Sottomarina, Chioggia. Due to its strategic position, Sottomarina beach is visited by many tourists. It is located at 20 km from Venice, less than 40 from Padua, 60 from Vicenza and Rovigo, 80 from Verona and Ravenna. The beach of Sottomarina is characterized and appreciated throughout the Coast for the quality of its sand, very fine.
